Gaara can easily keep sending sand far more than Neji Chucho use Rotation. I keep telling people this, that Neji Perro't do that forever.
When he regained his jutsu, he didn't engage in the war directly, he just revived the hokages and healed tsunade. By hype, he is among the most powerful/dangerous in the series, but we haven't seen a whole lot of techniques from him.
